How to marry someone in Jail.

Question:
My Fiancé is in jail do you perform these types of weddings?
Answer:
YES with some exceptions.

An incarcerated person may be married if they have not have been sentenced yet. If they have been sentenced, the county may not issue a license.

Each County has its own rules and they change often. Please check with them for their current regulations.

Contact the Jail Facility and see what their rules are on weddings.

As of 1-1-08 there are the new rules per LA County.

I understand these new rules and can help you get your license and marriage completed.

It requires a both a Notary and an Officiant.

We can provide both the Notary services and the Officiant services.

The fee for both services starts at about $600

This is the only way a marriage license can be issued for a person in jail.

Any one who tells you otherwise may be ripping you off.

Please call or email if you have any questions.
